just experimenting. reverse lens is fun, but bet one of those handy adapters would make this a lot easier, and could use a tripod. i like do things the hard way i guess.

That's how I get some of my macros. I work for an precision optics plant and when we have defective lenses, I can sometimes pick some to take. Magnifiers are interesting to play with... just hold the lens up in front of what I'm using but focus tends to be a pain in the butt with that.
