10.5mm f2.8 fisheye

Critiques

:iconsweetly-tortured:
I am an absolute sucker for a fisheye lens, so the photo immediately caught my eye. (No pun intended) :P
I really like the concept and the original thought of seeing the mud and debris in the jar as a message. Makes me wonder about the life of this inanimate object. The things it has seen. I enjoy the tight focus on the mouth of the jar and the surrounding beach. It draws you directly to the centre of the photograph. The fisheye lens helps with this as well. Causes the eye to move across the background, and then settle on the real message.
My only real critique would be the lighting. It is a little harsh and distracting. My initial thought is that it was added in artificially since some of the shadows cast by the smaller stones don't seem to match the upper left lighting.
Overall an awesome and thoughtful concept. An instant fave for me!
